中国科学院院士 宋玉泉

      男，中国民盟盟员，中科院院士，生于1933年6月12日（农历），1955年南开大学物理系毕业。现已在超塑性的研究领域发表学术论文近70篇。讲授14门课程，培养硕士13人，现有在读博士生4人。
      1955年-1979年，先后在吉林工业大学物理教研室、金相教研室、锻压教研室任教。1979年晋升为金属塑性加工专业副教授。1985年晋升为金属塑性加工专业教授。1987年任吉林工业大学应用物理系兼职教授。1992年由国家教委评为博士研究生导师。1988年筹建超塑性研究室。1994年筹建超塑性及塑性研究所。1997年被评为中科院院士。兼任《中国科学》、《科学通报》、《机械工程学报》、《宇航学报》编委。曾获国家自然科学四等奖一项、国家教委科技进步奖一等奖一项、国家教委科技进步奖二等奖一项、机电部科技进步奖三等奖一项。在研课题：国家自然科学基金项目一项、博士点基金项目一项。
